GENTLE YOGA ONLINE & IN PERSON (simultaneously 🙂 )

WEDNESDAYS, 6 PM – 7:15 PM

Current session: October 22nd – December 17th (earlybird special through 10/8)

Drop ins possible with pre-registration. Online students need to sign up before 5pm.

In-person space is limited and folks are asked to stay home if feeling unwell. Masks are optional.

Folks of all shapes, colors, orientations, and levels of experience are welcome.* These gentle classes support our resilience, steadiness, and connection as we navigate times of immense change and challenges. Kim facilitates a mindful, playful, and trauma-informed exploration of movement and breath. Together we’ll nourish our nervous systems, lengthen, balance, strengthen, and rest.

*be in touch if you have questions about whether this class is a good fit for you. two positions i like to be sure folks are relatively comfortable with are sitting on a cushion on the floor and “table pose” (hands and knees on the floor, on a folded blanket for cushioning). if these positions are not accessible to you, another class like chair yoga or individual instruction may be more appropriate.

In-Person: Class is in the beautiful Chatham Mills Studio. Space is limited. Masks are optional at this time. Please do not come to class if you are not feeling well or have been around someone who is ill. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to get settled for class to start at 6pm.

Livestream: If you are dropping into class online, please register below before 5pm to receive zoom link in time! When you register, I will send you the current week’s link along with details on navigating technology and creating a safer container for participants. Students log in 5 minutes before class to be sure I have time to admit you from the “waiting room”. After we have a brief welcome, you are free to turn off your video if that feels more comfortable (you can still see me but are not visible to other students during class).

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER

To celebrate my birthday, I invite folks to contribute towards my scholarship fund which allows me to provide access to classes for folks with limited financial resources. Thanks for helping me realize my vision of making wild food and medicine knowledge available for all! I’m so grateful (yep, that’s young Planty Kim showing my excitement) to my generous friends who have given over the years (amounts ranging from $5-$500)! Thanks to you, I’ve been able to share scholarship support with many eager students! Just click the yellow donate button at the bottom of this page…
